Surface treatment and reinforcement

Our ash chairs can be surface treated in any NCS color to match your color concept. In environments with high wear, however, we recommend clear lacquer on the bare wood chair for the best durability over time.

If the chair is to be hung up, which may pose a risk of the backrest hitting the floor when falling backward, we offer a reinforced construction. The glued backplate is then supplemented with screws for increased strength.

Tova-S wooden chair

Tova is a family, consisting of stackable wooden chairs with high comfort designed for public environments, designed by Stina Sandwall. Characteristic for Tova-S are the soft shapes that give the chair increased comfort and an interesting expression.

Construction

Frame in solid wood, molded seat and rounded back in veneered birch plywood. Tova is stackable and any upholstered seat can be easily separated for reupholstering. Tova-S has softer radii than the rest of the Tova family.
