All our table tops have a solid birch plywood core. The edge can either be exposed plywood, beveled and angled in different designs, or covered with a 10 mm solid edge band in ash or oak.

To ensure durability and minimize the risk of wear, we always glue the table's surface layer over the edge band. This prevents dirt and moisture from penetrating the joint between the table core and the edge band.
